How G&B Web Library collects, uses and protects your personal data.
1. Who we are
G&B Web Library, based in Paphos, Cyprus, is the data controller for the personal data described below. Contact us at [email protected] or +357 96 737 222 for any privacy question or request.
2. What data we collect
Data you give us directly: your name, phone number, email address, business details and project information, submitted through our contact or planning forms, or shared with us by WhatsApp, phone or email.
Data collected automatically: once you accept analytics cookies, we collect anonymised usage data — pages viewed, approximate location from your IP address, device and browser type, and the site that referred you — through Google Analytics.
3. Cookies and similar technology
This site stores your cookie-consent choice in your browser's local storage so we don't ask again on every visit. Beyond that, no cookies are set until you accept analytics.
If you accept, Google Analytics (GA4) is loaded to help us understand site traffic, with your IP address anonymised. If you decline, no analytics script runs and no analytics data is collected from your visit.
You can change your mind at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser settings, which will show the cookie banner again on your next visit.
4. Why we process your data
- To respond to your enquiry and prepare a quote — necessary to take the steps you request before entering into a contract.
- To deliver and support a project you've engaged us for — necessary to perform that contract.
- To understand how our website is used and improve it — based on your consent via the cookie banner.
- To meet our legal and accounting obligations, for example retaining invoices.
5. Who we share data with
We use a small number of trusted service providers to run our business and this website:
- Google (Analytics) — anonymised traffic analytics, only after you consent.
- WhatsApp / Meta — if you contact us via WhatsApp, that conversation is also subject to WhatsApp's own privacy policy.
- Cloudflare — hosting and content-delivery infrastructure for this website.
We do not sell your personal data to anyone.
6. International transfers
Some of the providers above (including Google and Meta) may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where this happens, it relies on that provider's Standard Contractual Clauses or another lawful transfer safeguard recognised under the GDPR.
7. How long we keep data
Enquiry and project data is kept for as long as needed to deliver your project and meet our legal and accounting obligations (financial records are typically kept for up to seven years under Cyprus law), after which it is deleted or anonymised. Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics' standard retention settings.
8. Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 and the Cyprus Law on the Protection of Natural Persons with Regard to the Processing of Personal Data (Law 125(I)/2018), you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your personal data, to object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing carried out before your withdrawal.
To exercise any of these rights, contact [email protected]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Cyprus Commissioner for Personal Data Protection.
9. Children
Our services are directed at businesses, not children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The version published on this page is the one currently in effect.
